Can I put several languages of subtitles on the hall screen?

The caption screen you put on the stage, one tile per language

Subtitling a talk into several languages at once on the stage screen. Drag to decide which language gets the big tile, and drop the audience QR into the layout as a tile of its own.

The number of languages decides the layout

Add a language and the arrangement changes so the screen is always full. Each count has its own layout precisely so you never get a last row that is half empty.

One tile is bigger than the others. By default the speaker's own language takes it — which is the wrong choice for a Korean talk to a Japanese audience, so tiles can be dragged to swap.

The audience QR can be a tile too

The QR can float above the captions, or sit in the layout as one of the tiles. "Small in the corner" and "a QR corner of its own" are each right for different rooms.

The stage layout

한국어 (spoken)

견적서 방식을 유지하되, 카드 결제 준비 중이라는 문장을 넣어 주세요. 시점은 확정 전이니 쓰지 마시고요.

English

Keep the quote flow, but add a line saying card payment is on the way. Do not put a date on it until it is confirmed.

日本語

見積書の方式は維持し、カード決済を準備中という一文を入れてください。時期は確定前なので書かないでください。

Audience QR

A sample written to demonstrate the product, not a real customer meeting.

Common questions

Can I put captions on top of my slides?
Not from the web — a browser window cannot draw over other windows. The desktop app's transparent overlay does exactly that.
Will the text be legible from the back?
Type size is adjustable, and fewer languages means bigger tiles. Read it from the very back row during rehearsal.
